Counting down...

I want to look forward to my LA visit but I need more time to finish all the work before I go!!!!

I haven't had time to plan what I'll be doing in LA.  Haven't even planned my meals!  And I haven't made plans with friends.  (So anyone in LA reading this...email me.  Or call me after the 17th!  You'll actually be able to get through.  Hahahaha)

I can't wait to be able to pick up the phone to call people.  I can't wait to be able to text people without IMessage.  I can't wait to be in the same time zone as my family and friends (or just a few hours behind).  I like my life in HK, but I totally miss being in the US!

What's funny is that I know I'll be chatting with my HK friends on whatsapp when I'm in the US.  Because I see them every day (yes, even Saturday and/or Sunday sometimes), so it'd be weird to not talk to them all of a sudden.  Sometimes I feel a little guilty for being paid to be at work because it feels like a day-long dinner party--we laugh and chitchat about random things and sit around our makeshift table for lunch, just to chitchat some more.

Ugh.  I just sneezed.  I better not get sick before my trip.  Or be sick in LA.
